Did you know that 20% of the nation's food touches South Holland but the area is not well known for its culinary delights? South Holland District Council is getting together with the community and businesses of the South Holland district to change this with the South Holland Food Festival. Running from 19th July to 15th August 2010 the festival will include a variety of fringe events, promotions and competitions, all based on food, either organised by community groups, businesses, companies or clubs/associations.This is an excellent opportunity for the community to show off just what they can do. Food is central to everyone's lives and eating good quality, interesting food is something we all enjoy doing.
To find out what fringe events, promotions and competitions have been organised please visit the 'Diary' tab, where there is weekly listings of all the events and the details you will need.
